About this pillar

Little Hearts, Big Feelings

Our Inspiring Leader pillar, "Little Hearts, Big Feelings," nurtures children's ability to understand themselves, manage emotions, and connect thoughtfully with others. Research shows that early social-emotional learning supports emotional regulation, empathy, social competence, and school readiness, helping children build a foundation for lifelong well-being.

Through playful, hands-on experiences, storytelling, movement, and guided interactions, children explore feelings, develop empathy, and practise cooperation, sharing, and conflict resolution at Magic Days.

Children develop a strong sense of self by recognizing their emotions, strengths, and individuality. As they explore personal preferences and express ideas, they gain confidence and learn to celebrate what makes them unique. This process is gently supported at Magic Days, where children are encouraged to understand who they are and how they fit into the world around them. A well-developed sense of identity helps them navigate new experiences with resilience and self-awareness.
